Crystalfontz Driver

CRYSTALFONTZ CFA 635 DRIVER - Drive bay kits in their current configuration will no longer be available. As part of our continuous improvement, the firmware has been updated for use.

  • In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options. On the Security tab, click the Trusted Sites icon. Click Sites and then add these website addresses one at a time to the list: You can only add one address at a time and you must click Add after each one.
  • Download Crystalfontz 633 WinTest - Crystalfontz 633 WinTest gives you a RS-232 Test and Demonstration Software for the 633.

1) Select a Crystalfontz LCD Module:


2) Click the Customize and Add to Cart Button on the Product Page:


3) Choose a Drive Bay Bracket or SLED from the Options:


4) Click the Add to Cart Button after making your selections:

Attached is a zip containing the latest USB drivers (v2.02.04) from the FTDI website modifed for use with Crystalfontz LCD's. The generic FTDI drivers are now WHQL certified.
These drivers are for the following operating systems:
Windows Vista
Windows Vista x64
Windows XP
Windows XP x64
Windows 2000
Windows Server 2003
Windows Server 2003 x64
Included in the zip file is a doc file (CF_USB.doc). This is a step-by-step list of instructions on how I installed them in Vista. The same method would be appropriate for XP.
