July turns to August and August turns into October. It’s in the air and the air shifts into something.
You can feel the rushing excitement start to build. But then the dread shows it’s ugly face.
The season is the reminder of what you don’t have. The broken promises. The personal failures. Everything you planned on doing that you haven’t done.
Winter always comes…no matter what is happening in life.
It’s always there. The hibernation. The calm.
The rumination of what happened in the year prior bringing all that forth into the new year with the promise to one’s self that it will be different.
Because you are different. You need to be different.
Its for no one else but yourself.
So take this season and make new memories, new traditions so that next year you can look back and smile and the stories you created from scratch.
Drink you chai or pumpkin spice and soak it all in. You deserve it. You are worth it.
